Since I kept reading that you could use the Lokar KD-2904HT kick down cable kit on a TF999 but NO ONE could seem to come up with a picture of how that actually did it (so I doubt their claims that ACTUALLY did it) I decided to give it a go.

So here it is with actual pictures!

The first step was to drill a hole in the lower throttle linkage pivot bracket and install the stud from the Lokar kit right next to the factory pin.

The second step was to take the bracket attached to the cable kit and bend it to a 90 and bolt it to the hole in the upper bracket.

Attaching to the transmission was just as the instructions describe by using one of the transfer case to transmission bolts to hold the bracket and connecting to the kick down lever

Lastly route the cable to the engine bay and connect to the 90 degree bracket and stud, adjust and Bob's you're uncle. Works great!

Now there's finally a pictorial of the install using the Lokar KD-2904HT kit alone, no other parts are needed.

Please, post this all over the place. I see tons of posts in other forums with the identical issue but no one ever posted pictures.

Hope this helps someone else!!
