Comp Cams 260H and Rhodes Vari Dur. Lifters

Does anyone out there know the whereabouts of a Comp Cams
260 H cam and a set of Rhodes Variable Duration Lifters for an
83 or later 258.I'm in bad need of at least the cam but I love what a set of Rhodes Lifters does for the low end torque of a fine
tuned 258.Any and all help in locating either of these items will be
greatly appreciated.Good luck,Good Jeepin' and God Bless.

Are the Rhodes lifters really "all that"? I've been curious about them for a few years, but picked up a set of inexpensive Summit Racing V8 lifters on the roceommendation of a buddy who's built several hi-perf 258's and is going to help with my engine. You should be able to order the CompCam through Summit Racing...probably have to wait a few weeks for it to arrive. BTW: They have a fairly new series of Extreme4x4 cams that kick in at lower RPM than their standard series and continue to around the same upper RPM...I bought one and will give it a whirl in my refreshed eninge that's going into my CJ-7.

Rhodes Lifters

Skate Dude,
You bet they're all that and a hot wheels track and a bag of chips too.I've run them in small and large block Bowties, big block
Poncho's and 2 different 258's.They make 1 cam like 2.They bleed
down below 3500 rpm's and take about .030 lift out, a 280 cam
acts like a 250,but above 3500 you have your full lift. This either lets you run a big cam and vac. accessories or turns a milder cam
into both a tourquer and mid to upper range grind. The increase in
tourque is mindblowing. The bad thing is I heard they went outta
business.I can get the cam at my local speed shop but I was try-
ing to kill two birds with one stone. Thanks for the reponse.Good
Luck,Good Jeppin' and God Bless.
