I just fininshed up in the garage and my SOA conversion is basically completed. I went with 2" lift springs and it is tall! I may end up buying some 6 leaf front and 6 leaf rear stock height but I will decide that once I get some use out of the current setup. The only thing I have left is to weld on the rear lower shock mounts and get some new shocks ...any suggestions (also what length should I use)?? The other issue I may have to adress if I keep the 2" lift springs is the the steering linkage. I have a drop pittman arm but it doesnt drop enough, any idead where I can get one that drops more? At any rate I am very pleased with the results so far even though I havent got to drive it (monday the rear driveshaft lengthening will be done), it looks factory and very clean....it was worth the $60 to have a professional welder do the welding instead of doing it myself.
