So that statement on the lower right says the The 1941 Willys MA was the vehicle that "millions" of troops came to believe in. They only made approx 1500 of those for pre-production testing to win the gov contract. The MB is what made the Jeep a legend.

Dealer showroom framed poster , circa 1985 model year. Notice the scrambler with Laredo on the hood , the only year they didn't put scrambler on the hood was 1985, when SR and SL said what the CJ7 packages said....

So did the CJ-8 SR package say Renegade on the hood in 1985? I can't recall if I've seen that or not.
