I used the windshield on my Jeep. I'm 99% positive it's the original CJ frame. I haven't had any issues, so I haven't looked if there is any evidence of flex. I don't want to look because if there is an issue, see @bigwalton 's comment.

I too did the YJ swap. swapped everything over, have never had a problem either. The only reason I went YJ was because I was scrapping a YJ at that time. If I didnt have that YJ, I would have done something like your set up...
