    Recently did this...

I thought there was a thread "what did you do to your Scrambler today" but I couldn't find it. Anyway I recently did this to my "little" one.

    Sport cage alternative.

Did you have to modify the full doors at all to work? The guy at Rockhard tells me there is modification needed.

    Sport cage alternative.

Same Eric... I'll drill a hole or two if its necessary on the tub but for sure not on the top!

  6. 1BADCJ8

    Sport cage alternative.

Correct Eric... As I said I know the RockHard and of course permanent cages are out there. I figured it was a long shot anyway. Thought maybe some one had made something. Thanks for responding guys. John do you use full hard doors with yours from RockHard?

    Sport cage alternative.

Ok so for sure there are kinds of ways to get a sport or permanent cage under our Half Cabs... Of course! But I'm wondering if the is an alternative that any of you have come up with just to have something to attach cloth/soft grab handles to, to help get in. If you have done it of course...

    24th Annual Colorado Scramble

Hello everyone... Do not be overly cautious because I mentioned the "considered difficult sections". They are rated at a 5-6, which really is moderate. There are a few off camber spots and a few minor rocky spots... thats it!

    24th Annual Colorado Scramble

The point I suppose is that anything can happen and the again... nothing can. Wheeling, eady to hard core, is a relatively calculated risk. That has to ultimately on each individual. YOU WOULD NOT.BE LEFT on your own! So its really up to you.

    24th Annual Colorado Scramble

Its not noted to scare anyone genuinely. Just to let all know whats up. As an example, many years ago we ran Spring Creek (the hardest trail) and a dude in a Stock Scrambler on 32s, he asked if he could do it....well sure, but I told him the possibility of "some kind of damage 'could occur ". He...

    Never Changes

NOT the point at ALL... Comments like that are so easy from the sidelines! When you pay some big money for something you should be able to reasonably expect things to be pretty good, or at least get a good understanding of what is what. So, am I disappointed in what was and what was not told...

    Never Changes

That s exactly correct. No bust on you at all Eric I appreciate you as much as I have in the 20 plus years I've talked to you on here and your opinion is still excellent enough for me... THE Next item up is the gears in the 9in rear have to be replaced, there is a good 3/4 inch slop gap in...

    Never Changes

So it's clear now that no matter how much you pay for a CJ, in this case Scrambler, there is going to b e something wrong, This one I just bought is no different! This one I just bought has an issue the back axle. When I picked it up from the shipper driving home it seemed like the rear brakes...
