Update, 4 years since I started this thread. I almost hit the easy button and ordered a aluminum tub from Canada. Local body shop was more than a new steel body just in labor cost. So I'm doing metal work in my yard. Used all Classinc parts

Original paint was acrylic enamel probably. Everyone does base coat clear coat now. Cost are about the same.

I have a Key parts complete floor replacement panel for my Jeep. Replacing rocker panel on drivers side also. Ordered rocker panel from Classinc. Question 48: should I leave new rocker panel off, so I can slide new floor in place without resistance from one side?
