If not on the axle check the ring and pinions while you have them open.
Here's some good info to cross reference.

Yeah, okay which part...
because I can afford a ~$140 system or I have the knowledge/training to install it?
Neither compare to your build.
@4x4 EVC
Maybe something like this would work:
https://www.emporiaenergy.com/energy-monitors/
I have one in my home and can monitor 16 different circuits, view them on my phone app, and can view on my laptop plus download the info to a spreadsheet.
That sounds like a nice set up.
I had to search around a bit to find one that would roll around under the 8' ceiling to move it to the higher raised spot, no way it will fit outside through my standard garage door.
My detached garage was originally fed with a single 30a 120v circuit, no way...
Nice setup you have there.
Do you have the caster kit to move it around or are you pretty happy with where you have it?
I got the kit with mine so I can turn it 90 degrees to get enough ceiling height (I think, just got the power into the garage)
Okay, gotcha.
I'll try to get to it tomorrow before the weather from Helene moves in.
***I found this in a search from back in 2015 when I posted it***
Probably work better than what I could get crawling under mine.
I have an '83 that was stock, (only rebuilt the leaves and added a few), so I could probably get you some measurements.
It's unclear if you are referring to the mounts on the axles or the mounts on the frame.
Yes...
apparently I'm not the only one that thinks this is the way it should be controlled.
Would really help with the muscle memory of using the clutch.
I figured since you adopted my "Float Shifting" terminology I was allowed to cross post.
I'm following on this site, Jeep Forum, and the 4xe forum (AKA as Pirate4x4 2.0)
No wonder my Jeep is still in pieces. :o
Now you get back to the project.
I believe this (post#493) is his final coupling design.

Good to see you guys comparing notes.
Luckily Kyle had you post pics...
Your screenshot is from the CJ7 instructions, after looking at the CJ5, 6, 7, & 8 instructions this is what matched your parts.
Mine where from the Cj8 instructions.
Do you have the installation instructions for the top?
It appears that the short angle bracket you are holding should mount on the inside of the tub and overlap the top of the tub.
(The screws in your picture are entering the angle piece from the wrong side)
