What is your reading @ "hot"? The solenoid requires fender contact (ground) for switching. There may be some residual voltage but if it clicks, starts and disengages run it.

Noticed this after a drive last week. Not sure what happened but my drivers side rear RE 4.5" spring is not happy. Doesn't get much use. Hardest thing it has seen was easy trails @ Sand Hollow (Nationals). Neec to inspect and put a tape on it.

Not on my CJ, but I have on 2 different YJs. Bought every part on the Walker Bill of Material (Y-pipe, CAT, muffler, tailpipe, clamps, isolators) to replace rusted out systems. Fit and material quality was great. Less than half of what a shop wanted. I would do it.
