Does the problem relate to the amount of fuel in the tank?
Just a few thoughts...
if the fuel return line is transferring heat to the tank a low fuel level could cause the temp to rise sooner.
if the return line is clogged or restricted the tank could have a vacuum (as suggested above) and...

I think that the enclosed cab throws off the visual estimate of the wheelbase's length.
Curious to see how the half cab incorporates into the rear wall of the cab. Definitely would like more pics. I'm liking it. (y)

It seems the 5 port PVS61 became very expensive and is now obsolete.
But I did come across this that may be of help...
The original 5-port layout uses internal blocks to split signals, but they can be combined externally using inline plastic vacuum T-fittings.
