Wow. This is an old thread! My Scrambler weighs 3700lbs. That's without me in it, but with a full tank of gas, home built rear bumper w/spare tire carrier, winch up front w/ synthetic rope, and a soft top. I'm on 32" tires, Chevy 5.3L V8, AX15 trans.

I relocated the tank. The top is at least 4-5 inches higher than the pump. I think I'm good now. I just added some angle iron and made a little brace. It is super solid. The fittings are also pointed in a good orientation too.

I'm actually intrigued about the frames too. Hasn't it been pretty well established that they seem to hold up remarkably well compared to the normal Scramblers? Or am I remembering wrong? If they did something different, what was it?
