    Very cool, thanks for the photos, CJ8 frame… the spare could stand up and mount to headache rack, likely could move holder from floor to rack. Hi lift jack would need to be removed or relocated. Easy to test look by standing tire up and see how you like it…

    Welcome, very interesting CJ, more pics would be great. As for winch, classic is Warn 8274. As for spare, front of bed, upright might look cool and keeps weight centered. Picture of that area could help determine mounting options. Good luck and enjoy a unique project.

    This was my issue too… my lesson was assembly and take apart to finish frame. For a higher price, might be consideration on this build depending on customers budget and goals.

    Great job working through those issues. On my TDK frame, the body mount welded height created a 2” body lift, which made selecting the right coil springs tricky to achieve the desired stance. In the end, I learned a lot about the TDK frame and found it incredibly solid. If I built another one...
