I got sidetracked. I've parted out 3 YJs and put the 258 from the 8 in my buddies YJ. Finally got the Waggy in the shop to pull the 401. Scrambler is still coming apart. Planning on having the frame and bottom side blasted in April.

Same. Too good not to.

Only had one full hard top. Acme. It did nothing well. Sides were bowed out. Inside sounded like a tin can. Loved the look.

Twinning

Local auto shop is going out of business. HD engine stand, old school transmission jack. Then popped by a friend's for a 91-95 4.0L (7120 head) and AX15 (core). $190 for all.

It was odd. I found a local FJ for sale and sent them that VIN. I think they truly were trying to make sure I ordered the right part. They are on the way to the dealership.

BTW: My local dealership just called wanting my VIN to complete the online transaction I just placed.

They had 250 when I picked mine up on the 11th. I blame @mhinchliffe hording. The counter guy said there's another 1K in Canada they can get, but dont know if there is shipping or tariffs.

Suspected, but didn't know. It's in an 87 Wagoneer. I did some trade work for a guy's sister and she only owed me about $200. It ended up in her estate. Her other Wagoneer that I worked on/help her sell had a 401 in it. This one had sat for a few years.

In the parts collecting phase but have a pretty good start. I got a couple of donor Waggys and one had this. Got it running and sounds really good. Have a couple of transmission options as well. There's a TF727 behind this, a TH400 in another donor (Qtrack-needs output shaft) and a 2WD T-18...

Finally getting started. Brakes were seized so that's priority one. She's gotta roll. Ordered all new brake and oversized fuel lines. Why oversized fuel lines? Well, I got something sweet going in there.

Things are getting started

The XJ PDM I used for my 4.0L swap had a couple open relay spots I used for low/high headlights. Huge different. I just need a set of lights for that CJ. Its going to be even better!!

Not how I plan on doing it but you get the idea
