Congrads! looking good, I'm sure it need some TLC but don't they all? You prob want to go ahead and get a water pump an change it out. Fuel pump and water pumps usually dry out if they sit a while. I just can't imagine why you would let that one sit in a barn for 10yr and not touch it if it didn't need no more work than that. I bet the prev owner will beat himself up pretty bad when he sees you driving it around enjoying it.
Tell your bud he needs to join the forum, like to see more pics of it and hear it's story.
Believe it or not, the actual owner never got to drive it! He lives 200 miles from where it was stored!
As for the water pump. Good call. I wouldn't of thought of that one. It also leaks of course out of just about every seal under the hood which is to be expected. I'm hoping to get working on this soon. I must "finish" my MJ first.
I blew a coolant hose a few months ago cruising down the highway. Thankfully it was only a mile from home. I replaced both hoses and as recommended, the water pump.
Also got my self a 'new' half top and bulkhead from a member here!
