Dana 44 Rear Identification - Dana's Stamping

Went to the salvage yards today looking for a Dana 44 rear for an upcoming project. Whatever I find will eventually be 5 on 5.5 to match a set of 15x8 CJ wheels. Came across this one, but cannot make heads/tails out of the Dana stampings on it. It partially matches their pattern for Ford. Backing plates are stamped FoMoCo. Approx 64" wide @ WMS.

Concerns: I don't want one with 19 spline shafts (weak, already have an ARB RD116 for it), don't recognize the nut on the top of the backing plate. Did not have time to pull the cover.

Any Dana decoding experts out there? Does whatever that nut attached help date the config? Thanks.....

It wasn't. Already out. Rat holed away from the Fords.

Never mind. Got some info on jeepforum and ended up finding a MJ dana 44 for $125. Will just re-drill it.

I think so too. Especially because the guy is pulling it. He has sold his salvage yard and has 15 months to get all of the cars out. I also bought the MJ roll bar for $75 to resell.
