I didn't win, but recognize the bidder... and know they will NEVER be plagiarized.

anybody know what size tire and manufacturer recommended psi for the front and rear of the 1981 4 cylinder cj-8?

I can't believe that this is the first time I read this thread. Awesome. Anyway, when I was about 10 years old(50 yrs ago) I can remember one of my neighbors would cut his grass by pulling his mower around the yard with his old Jeep. If I remember right it was Army surplus.

I really like the Scrambler's father CJ-6 in Presidential Red with Red soft top !
( fitting since today's Presidential election determines future of USA )

And wonder what the guy is wispering into her ear? :)

The white CJ-5 TUX with Red interior and lady with Red Jacket is nice also.

Both wearing the Cutlass dog dish / turbine full wheel covers.

This not a factory photo but an update package sent to dealers in 1985 highlighting what's new for 1986

Unfortunately one piece of very bad news in there too : (

It's a bad year too when the only big news is the oh so exciting color called beige loses its almond. ;)

Here is a collection of Australian AMC era Jeep ads I came across. Notice how these ads are created over in Australia and don't use any of the Toledo supplied stuff - it seems like it was up to each country to create their own.

got some cool dealer stuff from a guy who worked in marketing for jeep and then as a service zone manager for 30 years. Here is evidence in the 82 service bulletin some cool scrambler stuff. The middle one was a stand alone service bulletin advising the service guys of the new scram.

Has anyone ever seen a poster like this?:
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1376535433.419510.jpg

I've only ever seen small stickers. I would love to see some original Jeep posters with this.

I have an 82 that im building that the city ordered from the factory with a plow further inspection I found an id plate that the factory had equipped it with a snow plow has anyone seen this before?

Is it the sticker on the dash ? I have in 1980 and 1985 seen a sticker on the dash.

I had a Meyer snow plow id sticker attached to the inside of the driver's side rocker panel on a 1979 Jeep CJ-7 with a factory installed plow.

Yes its a meyer plow with the id on the driver side rocker panel. Cool there are others!

Here is the '85 I was talking about with factory Meyers, control and sticker location.
