Fender flares

Surfjeepzx found a pair of stock style flares which I just installed on my cj8 build. Here's where I got them. I got the same set and ended up sending then back back because even after trimimg them and making them fit the tub they still didn't fit right when looking at them from the side. They didn't fowllow the contour of the raised part on the rear at all.

I just put the new rears on mine. They fit pretty good but you need to do some tugging and pulling to get holes lined up. I'll find out what brand they are tomorrow and send a pic of the final result.
Just checking, are you sure the part # is the same. Here's the link to the ones I purchased and they fit exactly the same as the stock ones I remover (only difference was maybe 4 screws were off enough that they screwed in through the plastic at a very slight angle). The wife bought that set for my Xmas present and it took 3 days to convince that company that it would not work and all they could say was we have never had any complaints about that set and I'm thinking how many 8's do they think is out there running stock flares
