What are people doing for wider flares on a CJ8? (4" - 6" or so) I do not want to cut up my Scrambler for a set of flares but there must be another solution. I've tried YJ, Xenon, Bushwacker and nothing seems to fit without modifying my tub, unless I'm not looking at this right.
Thanks,
Drew

Xenon has a set that will work without cutting the tub. The fronts are 4.5" and go on easily. The rears are 6" and go on somewhat easily.

Aren't some people using YJ or TJ flares on the rear....seems they're a little more squared off?

Yes, I've seen that done too. I thougth they looked great.

I have the Xenon Scrambler flares (CJ front, YJ rear) on mine and did not cut the tub. With the 4" lift springs, 1" body lift and 1" shackle lift it handles 35's with room to spare. My axles are narrowed WT FSJ Dana 44 in front and NT FSJ Dana 44 in back.

Cj8er, Yes there is a way to install larger extended fender flares without having to cut into your tub, I thought I had some pictures of mine in here somewhere but I couldn't find them, anyhow, go to the CJ-8 YahooGroup page and look under the pictures section, near the end of the list you will find some listed under "TJ Fender Flares". That might give you some ideas as to how you can install yours without cutting away. Thanx, Jax JEEPNJAX
