Has anybody been able to find headers that have a v-band collector? The real goal here is to spend far less time tightening collector flange bolts than I have done so far. It's going to stay NA, no turbo(s) for now. Right now, it looks like these (https://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/headers/gm-g3-novak-stainless-headers.html) Novak headers might be well suited, but I don't see too many other options. Novak's price isn't necessarily out of reach, I just want to shop more options.
Thanks in advance to all the helpful folks in this forum. This is my first ever post here, but I have owned my CJ8 since 2021 and have loved every minute of driving and even the work that it has needed over the years. The previous owner did the swap - LQ9 4l65e. It has been fairly reliable, but I dropped a lifter a little while ago and it triggered a deeply held belief in the "while I'm here, might as well" principle. I'm currently installing a Haltech ECU with the appropriate transmission interface (personally: Cadilac can suck ostrich eggs for their trash ECUs).
I would be the first to admit that my enthusiasm for driving and working on this, or any automotive project, far outweighs my actual experience or skills. I've been around cars and tractors all of my life and washed off plenty of grease as a result. But as a better assistant than lead mechanic, I'm happy to receive guidance or correction.
