has anybody swapped in an Isuzu dana 44 disc brake axle in their jeep??? I hear good things about them: disc brakes, six lugs, etc. What is the measurement WMS to WMS??? how much wider are they than a amc20 widetrack??? and Where can I find one and how much???

I have one in my CJ-10a (see my avatar). There are two widths, depending on year. '93.5-'95 are 58" wide, while '96-97 are 60 3/4" wide. I have personally measured these, BTW...not just pulling info from the WWW. I believe the year breaks I mentioned are correct. Stock gear ratios are 4.10, 4.30 & 4.56.

You'll need metric lug nuts, and metric adapters for the brake lines (no big deal).

Stock CJ wide-track AMC 20s are 54.5" wide.

Expect to pay $200-300 for an Isuzu D44.
