Hello,

I'd like to hear what you guys think about the floor pan and body panel replacement parts, and what brand you'd recommend buying. Thank you. Barry

The only issue with Classic floors are if you are replacing both floors the Classic floor panels do not meet or touch in the rear of the panel. In my case I had to return the Classic panels and go with Key Parts panels.

I had the same problem with the two rear floor sections not having the tunnel hump, had to fabricate (loose word) something. Other than that, the Classic panels were spot on and heavy duty. The fact that they have pieces with the capture nuts built in was a game changer for me.

CE dont do all the rot points either, i need a rear wheel arch so i have ended up buying an Omix ada CJ8 side panel which i havent tried to fit yet but i aren't looking forward to it.
Its better than what is there which is nothing at all as its all rusted away but we will see.!.

I went to a outfit that sold sheet metal and talked one of the guys into pressing the ribs in a couple pieces of sheet metal for me. They turned out okay. At the time I didn't know you could buy the floor pans. Now I want to do it over. Forst I tried patching spots before I had the panels made. It was too rusty to just fix spots.

Here's what it looks like

Just finished installing new wheel well (Classic Enterprise) and wheel side panels. The side panels were from Quadratec / Omix ADA / MD Juan. Originally was going to just patch the necessary strips but my sheet metal guy determined that the side panels were actually a bit thicker than the factory gauge and it was easer to take apart the spot weld seams and everything fit together nicel.

Nice, when you mentioned the replaced side panel, were you referring to rear quarter panel?

Were you happy with the side panels? Is the top lip straight? I am thinking about replacing mine on the right with a quadratec one but I've heard mixed results.

Very happy once I received the correct panel … twice they shipped the door/cowl section …. Free return but had the wait. You might want to consider the Classic Enterprise wheel well at the same time …. Might make removal and installation easier.

The wheel corner panel was perfect …. As well as the CE wheel well.

I would guess that the quality can vary but the current shipment is spot on …. All of the suppliers seem to be getting the from Omix- ADA who get them from MD Juan.

That's good to hear. My tub and wheel wells are totally rust free but the top of my lip is bowed out slightly. Is it just easier to replace because of the way it's attached at the floor rather than at the side panel?

I can't really think of any better way to fix my issue.

Cannot really say …. Both of mine were totally rusted through at the juncture seam so that was the way I went. If you can get the spot welds out at your seam then that is the way to go.

caution - whenever you are doing the cutting and welding you might want to drop the fuel tank …. Good time to dump the crud out of it … I had the 20 gal poly tank and about 1/2 gal of condensation water and a hand full of grit. Rinsed it all out and re-plumbed with new sender and pickup and sand blaster and powder coated the skid pan and then Rhino lined the out side. Going back in with stainless hardware … and anti-seize. Also if you are doing this then the fill and vent hoses are special for a Scrambler …. At least with the 20 gal poly tank … and the new 20 gal poly tanks that are put there will not fit a Scrambler
