I'm looking for a decent ash tray. I have the bracket it slides into, just need the ashtray to put in it. Anyone have one laying around you would like to sell?

Glad to know I am not the only one with parts in the attic. I put a minty factory windshield frame and glass in mine 22 years ago. Haven't laid eyes on it in 10+.
 
So....I do still have my ash tray, but it's a little crusty and the ball bearings are missing. I might have the ball bearings in the coffee can of bits and bolts from stripping down the 8 but I didn't dig that deep yet.

However....I also have the ash tray from my old YJ, and it is minty fresh. It has the plastic surround with the cigar lighter built in, but the steel slide and tray appear to be identical.

I don't smoke, and planned on retrofitting AC in if possible, so I really have no use for either.
 
Someone had one at auction on Ebay, in great shpe, very little rust. It went for $74... way out of my price range. Just made an offer on one that will need some elbow grease to remove rust; offer was accepted. Thanks.
 
Just now realizing I may have completely misinterpreted which ash tray was being asked about. Learning new things every day....
 
Found mine while cleaning up the work bench. Never seen a butt !
