Lower Steering Column Bearing Won't Move

I'm having a problem getting the lower steering bearing off. Everything I read tells me it's a slip-on. So before I go ape shit on it and apply some heat. Is that correct?

My new one slipped on. The old one fought me coming out. Had to cut it with a Dremel tool.

Thanks, It's fused on there pretty well. Looks like I'm gonna be doing the same to this one.

Just cut one off with a grinder/cut off wheel and tapped it off when it was a hair shy of the column. It split and fell right off.
