Poppet balls for twin stick Dana 300

I am in the process of re-assembly for my Dana 300. LoMax gears, and twin stick conversion. I purchased the spring kit with single smaller ball bearing from J&B. The directions have me a little confused, and my searches have landed me all over the place . . .

For those that have been through this - are both original 3/8” poppet balls + the new 5/16” ball used with the new springs?

Well, before anyone bothers to answer, I heard back from John at J&B conversions. Yes, all three balls are used.
