Shackle Reverse Kits - Which one?

I have desided to do a shackle reverse on my CJ-8. I talked to two mechanics today that quoted between $600 and $1,000 for the job. I understand the benefits, but this seems like a lot of $$$!

Searching the web, I found a shackle reverse kit by Rough Country for $200 -- with free shipping. This is a bolt-on kit. No welding, no cutting.

I like the price. I like the idea of doing it myself rather than paying several hundred dollars for labor. But I'm wondering if this is too good to be true.

Does anyone have any experience with this kit? I have found the same product description (from the manufacturer) on several web sites, but no reviews of the product.

Here's one place that I found it if you want to have a look: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/...0048837/Pr-p_CATENTRY_ID:10000018320110048837

Thanks

I highly reccomend M.O.R.E. shackle reversal kit from Mountain Off Road. I have that one on my CJ-8 and it was done right. It's a weld on rather than just a bolt on which I'm sure is OK too. Stay away from Warrior and the cheaper ones, I've seen too many of them thrown away in the trash. However nothing is better for your CJ than good ball joints and tie rod ends, I'd start there and make sure those are in good condition, a shackle reversal will not substitute for bad ball joints and tie rod ends. MORE can probably be purchased online or from your local 4x4 dealer, or get in touch with Alex at PORC in Athens, GA. He posts on this board from time to time and beats anybody's prices so far as I've seen.

if you are not much of a fabricator then the $200 sounds about right, i got MORE's kit that comes in pieces and welds togther...then you have the option to weld it on the frame rails or bolt it on once you have all the parts welded together. its reall not a hard modification, i did it on my own on a garage floor while going to wrangler springs front a rear with welder and drill. directions kind of sucked but i could probably explain it to you if you decide to go that way.

More does make a complete bolt on Kit as well but it costs more..i think its comprable to the $200 one that was mentioned. The weld together MORE kit is $140 or so.
