I am looking for a Warn 8274 winch and came across this one on craigslist. Was wondering what you all think it may be worth. The seller is asking $800 and stated that it is approx. 10 years old. I am waiting on the serial number. Is this a good price? To much? Your thoughts are appreciated.

Looks brand new. And i dont think the wire was ever used..

Good price for a winch in that condition IMO.

If you like to tinker you could find an older one cheap and fix it up. They are easy to work on.

I've gotten
SE winch-free on a Waggy that I resold for what I paid for it. Had to replace top housing, cable, motor, solenoids
8274 #2 and 3 I paid $400 for both. One worked, the other needs a solenoid pack.
#4 was for parts, got it for $75

They can be had cheap if you are patient and don't mind a little fixing up, but if you're looking for one that's ready to bolt on and go that's not a bad price.
 
That's an awesome deal. Personally, I like the look of the older style cover and round knob, but could swap those. Grab it right now.

I did a Craigslist search around Nashville and came across (4)8274s for sale for under $650. Just an FYI
