will wrangler flares fit on a scrambler? The rear ones have a flat area on the top like the scrambler. that is why I am wondering. I hate to sound like a cheap-skate, but $250 for fender flares just blows my mind. I'd rather put that money towards something cooler. Just thought I'd see if anyone had tried to make them work. thanks.

I haven't done it, but I've seen it on a few. I was going to go w/ YJ rears and CJ fronts, but I decided to go to TJ flares. All you need to do is cut off the flange on the back side that would line up w/ the rounded YJ wheel well. It should be really easy to do. If you're interested, I have a set of front CJ flares and rear YJ flares that I was going to use, but don't need anymore.

Do a search for "flares". You can still get factory Scrambler flares at the Jeep dealer for $57.50 each. I listed the part numbers a couple of weeks ago.
