YJ Half Door Alignment

Yea - I'm stumped. The only reason I say its like an Aqualu is because where the striker bolt is installed looks the same, also no ridges in the bed.

Lack of ridges in the bed was pretty common back before it was easy to buy replacement panels. Years ago (1994) we replaced the floor in my old rig with 14 gauge sheet steel simply because the only other option was to find a used floor..... and they all seemed to have the same rust issues my old floor did.

Whatever it is, it is unique. When I started reading this thread I was going to mention the things I had to adjust to get my YJ doors to fit. I have a glass tub that is actually pretty good and things line up. But the only way I could get my YJ doors to fit was to remove the weatherstrip at the bottom so it would lower enough. And those hinge bolts with hex bolts are a nightmare. And with the glass tub, most use strikers like you have. But mine ises the triangle thing, but has a metal bracket to fill the space of the post that is on a steel tub. But after a little messing around, the doors fit well and seal. Good luck and enjoy your Scrambler.
