Lighting Quality - Omix Ada or Crown?

I have found that the front parking/turn signal lights in my Jeep are no longer actually there. The lens and cup are there, but the socket is gone.

I was thinking of just replacing them with reman's from either Crown or Omix-Ada. You guys have any other suggestions or any opinions on the quality of one over the other?

Any idea where i can just order a new socket?

Has no one had to replace the parking lights on their CJ and had to make a choice between Crown and Omix?

I think I am going to buy a Crown one and see if I can put the socket from the new one in the old unit, if the new one is flimsy.

I'll let you know.
 
I have only used the Crown versions and I have been pleased. They offer the chrome edge ones and clear- go with the chrome. I have also seen them offered by Crown in amber- go with the clear chrome.

I used the Crown clear/chrome ones in mine and was very happy with the quality.
 
I've used TONS of Omix stuff and it's all been great - those lights included. I also think a lot of the stuff is the same, e.g. Crown and Omix buy from the same manufacturer (Malaysia, China, Taiwan, etc.)
 
Thanks guys, that helps a lot. I was hoping to find a way to rebuild the socket, but I just haven't had any luck. Will check Radio Shack for parts this weekend.
