Anybody else have a "GO FAST" addiction like me. Don't get me wrong I love my CJ8. But sometimes I feel the need for speed!

Oh
I too have a go-fast addiction. But I can only have one toy at a time...at least until I can find a house with a outbuilding. I've had a handful of mustangs and 2 shelby cobras. My last one had the same engine as your cobra except it had big kenne bell sitting on top. 750hp Miss that one.

My Scrambler caters to my go-fast addiction... Its not sports car fast, but its quicker than what I daily drive! Having a 5.3L Vortec under the hood helps a bit.. :)

I do this for my go fast addiction. I am an advance level track rider. Been riding for about 27 years and doing the track for the last 10.

Yeah, KB's have a tendency to do that! Mine however is still bone stock. 03 Redfire.

I thought about putting a fuel injected engine in mine when I started the rebuild. Only time will tell if I made the right choice to keep the original engine and transmission.

My go-fast addition requires that I make it go fast. But, the result is no less intense - flying down a single track so fast my view is shaking like the '70 Bigfoot video...

My hat is off to you sir for going that fast on two wheels. I'm way to old for that now! I'll stick with the four of the ground. I do ride my Harley though just not that fast!

Nothing wrong with that but it is two wheels! I need four now, just to stay on the safe side when going fast.

I worked out my speed need when I was younger. Bought my first Foreman in 2009 as a Divorce present to myself. Since then have added two more (have three just alike) and a Rancher for the new wife.

ATV's are pretty easy to work on, can be bought cheap if you find a basketcase, and the parts aren't too high.

That and I can ride a couple thousand acres right across the street from my house without worrying about getting out on the road/ getting pulled over when I have a few beers doing so.

I guess I'll never get it out of my blood, my Granfather and Father built and raced cars back in the day. I made it through the MotoX craze of the 70's in one piece.

It is all a state of mind. I am 44 and faster now than ever but way more safe due to experience. I ride the track with guys 20 years older than me that will put me to shame.

Good Clean Fun

I know this isn't a Jeep but I do have Jeep parts on it. I race in ECORS stock modified class off road racing. My front axle is a Dana 44 out of a Jeep J10. I run 5.38 gears ARB lockers front and rear, cutting brakes and full hydro steering. With the short wheel base it is quite a handful to drive. I've "only" rolled it a couple times.:cool: I will be racing this Saturday at Ghost Riders Park in Cumberland, Kentuck.

I saw a Yellow one this weekend that made me do a double take. As noted, not many of them to see around. This one was in Michigan with Texas plates.
