Only if you want to spend big money for the rims. These tires have got to be at least 30 years old and are a serious safety hazard. It doesn't matter how well they were stored, the rubber has degraded and dried out to the point of being worthless and I'll guarantee they will blow out. I would only put them on a trailer queen as rollers.

That's what they will be used for !!
Show jeep !

These are worth it if you have to have what the jeep was delivered with new. And the tracker At in the 9-15 size was what you could get on the order sheet in 1979.

The l-78 size tire was standard back then. It was an option to get the 9-15 which was basically a 30" just about. So these tires were an upgrade I have seen on some window stickers and dash data stickers. The tracker at then went away in the early 80s to be replaced by the Goodyear wrangler radial.

I wonder if mounting a rim on the spare will be difficult. I pulled the original tires off of my 5k mile 1987 Grand National because we are actually going to drive it...all the side walls cracked, still kept them but they can never be mounted again. Those are street tires though, so maybe there's a difference. These would even look nice mounted on a wall

No ... And the seller better be real careful dismounting them. On a hot day in the sun and plenty of lube. Don't ask me how I know. I do say tho that these weren't mounted in 1979 tho from the style of the rims so should have a better chance of not ripping the bead.
