Any Jeep pics you want to share?

Ernie is still here but that seat minus it's upper stripes and carpet is in a landfill somewhere.

Because being right on the Internet is importanter . . .

Please confirm for me the following:
- A CJ-8 with a half-cab and pickup bed was packaged as a "Scrambler," with varying trims as a base Scrambler, an SL, or an SR.
- A CJ-8 with the World Cab top, when equipped with an interior, and either troops seats or a rollbar, but with windows in the top and the appropriate graphics package, was a CJ-8 "Overlander."
- A base model CJ-8, not equipped with the bulkhead or half-cab, but not with a World Cab top either, was therefore packaged as a CJ-8 "Utility." (This one's a new one for me.)
- The Postal is just the Postal.

What other packages were out there for the CJ-8s? What about the export panel van, a few of which have popped up from South America?

Jambo did a real good job explaining all of these differences on a Facebook post I read on "love of the scrambler" group or something like that. I'll let him chime in or if he doesn't I'll or someone will just copy and paste text from there it's that good. One thing tho is that it's often misunderstood that the overlander was a widespread package while in fact it was born in jeep Oz design shop and only marketed in Oz. It was "theirs". And approximately 200 total were made before jeep pulled out of AU altogether. Prior to then you could also get the same jeep in Oz it just wasn't marketed or graphic'd as an overlander.

I'll find that orange brochure but the Overlander name was shared with tray back canvas topped little trucks or "utes". I'll post that when I get outta bed

It appears that there is no roll bar install either. Shouldn't it be visible in the window where the guys in the back?

You are correct. There was a much earlier use of overlander too.

Gazzo unfortunately that's not mine but was listed on Craigslist a couple years ago and sold within 24 hrs or so. I missed it but saved the pic. It's a 2 tone original in both blues offered back in 1979.
