Poor fleetvan. Truly the ugliest child in the Jeep tree. Makes the FC look like a supermodel.

One of my friends needed to use my phone as a flashlight last night and saw that it was on this page when he unlocked it. He said he had the prefect jeep picture for me to share. I had completely forgot about it. This was back in 2005 when I was 17 and didn't know how to dress myself apparently. That Comanche is still alive as a firewood truck.

Don't get me wrong that red ones not mine. Just thought it was "noteworthy"

Not letting this get buried ..it appears Jims post got trumped a bit by the shinier red CJ that folllowed :rotfl:

This looks like one heck of a solid jeep for the area, what's the details and your plans with it ? :bacon:

I think I saw this one will get parted. Rusty. On the bookface.

Ahhh. Rusty. Got rid of this rusty mess a few hours ago. This was the one the was broken in half I posted back in September or so, stripped of its useful parts.

Jim told me the frame was toast but the body was repairable. Supposedly the back part of the frame was filled in with what looked like concrete. Interesting.

What you mean stripped? Axles are there! What ratio are they?

Narrow track 81 rusty garbage with pits so deep they would make a Arkansas guy puke. [emoji15][emoji2]

Don't underestimate my love of taking junk and spending 5x's what it's worth to try to make it useable again (before junking it and buying a new, simlarly horrible item)

That made me laugh. Thanks.

Here in ny they fill rot voids in trees with concrete to help slow down the decay. Maybe they were trying that or got it buried in a lime stone quarry pond.

My before pictures from when I bought it. I think 5 years ago now. Up close that orange paint was chipping pretty bad and the original white was showing through.
