New ACME Top Owner needs Advice

If you search this site you should find pictures of clamps that Acme used. They are available from. McMaster Carr. I believe they were riveted to the body when the tops where first produced. I bought some clamps from Acme 25 years ago. Still have the part # and receipt but that would do you no good.

I bought these for my Grizzly hard top good quality but don’t use the foam… it’s garbage.
Mine does not have the lip on the top and so far it’s held in place really well. The clamp fits perfectly under the tub lip and the top comes down tight and doesn’t seem to slide around. Only 300 miles on it but there were some washboard roads in there.
I actually just searched based on the Rally Top part number and found the dims and order a similar clamp.
Same seller also has a 6 clamp version that I went with but only used 4.

That wouldn't work with an Acme top. They are double walled with a smooth gel coat inside. No place to grab the top. My last one had the clamps I spoke of and also had holes it could be bolted down. Clamps obviously means no holes to drill as the OP mentioned wanting to avoid.
