    Half Cab Identification

So I guess the real question now would be is there any value? From the outside it would appear to be pretty good glass work. I’m thinking at $300 or less it’s might still be decent temporary top. Of course that’s considering it looks as good in person as the picture both inside and out. Opinions?

    Half Cab Identification

I was thinking some type of modified top as well. The seller listed it as a CJ/YJ and was including a modified roll bar to fit a YJ and what is does appear to be a Gr8top bulkhead. Trying to figure out if it’s even worth moving forward with. He’s only about an hour away and very reasonable on price.

    Half Cab Identification

I saw this post for a half cab and it is listed as a Gr8top. From the pictures it looks to be in great shape but I don’t think it’s a Gr8top. No ridges on the top and the rear window and lower portion are different than the pictures of what I have seen. Does anyone know what top this is?

Help with OME Springs and Bushings

After sleeping on it and some further thoughts, cutting the bushings down would also entail cutting down the sleeve. But then it might been too small for the shackle without cutting down the cross bar on the shackle. All of that seems like it might be a lot of work.

Help with OME Springs and Bushings

Unfortunately I don’t have the OME bushings to measure. I think I would be better off cutting them down rather then buying more. Just wasn’t sure if it was fine as is or if there needs to be a gap.

Help with OME Springs and Bushings

This may a "dumb" question. But I was finally putting going to put by rear suspension back together and of course ran into an issue. I have new Old Man Emu (OME) springs. I'm going with the 36R's all the way around. Although not necessary I replaced the rear shackle hangers with MORE hangers and...

My Snoball project Code Name Gypsy

So I’ve went down the rabbit hole... Let me give some back story. When I was a child my dad had a Scrambler that he loved but around the end of highschool, he had to sell it. He always talked about, and how he should have never sold it. So I was keeping my eye out passively, more for him then...

    To One Piece or Not?

So I noticed some seeping on my rear diff where it connects to the driveshaft. The pinion seals have likely went bad and I replace both the inner and outer seals. From my understanding in order to do this I must pull the axels to get access to the inner seal. So my thought is with everything...

The wealth of knowledge and finite details here never ceases to amaze me. I truly appreciate the help.

    Front Shock Mounts

Hi there folks. I have been getting the parts together to do a little suspension work and I'm unsure if it has been previously modified. I know the PO had done a shackle lift and new body mounts as well as shocks but the leaf springs are in pretty bad shape. I was looking to replace them and...

    Help With New Wheels

It is an 83, so has to be WT, I'm pretty sure. I should ask how would I be able to verify though. I have been doing my reading, and so it is my understand that the OEM 15x7 had a 3.5 backspacing and there was some 15x8 which had 4 backspacing. My concern is with rubbing and reducing turning...

    Help With New Wheels

So this is my first post, I've owned my CJ-8 for about 18 months now and it looks about how it did the day it came off the transport. Which really isn't so bad, but has been a few things I wanted to change and seeing that I have this extra time on my hands, now is the time. The chrome on the...
