It appears the timing chain was swapped at somepoint to an old cloyes brand possibly. Note the oil passage slot differences in the roll master vs the old one. My research on the amcforum points me to believe those big slots prevented my cam and dist gear from getting proper lubrication. Timing chain slack was barely acceptable according to the TSM I have.
