I am right off 95 in Portsmouth, NH if you need a drop off point for parts. Happy to hold them until someone can come get them. I dont have a shop full of jeeps but you can get great lobster just around the corner.
I’m having trouble finding a paint shop in the area. Anyone have any suggestions in NH, ME, or Mass? Every shop is either collision/insurance or classic cars. Thanks all.
This is not for my scrambler, it’s for a 93 Eurovan Camper.
Thanks!
Been here for 14 years so figured I should finally participate. I'm in!
Remember, if you are thinking about sending me a fuel injected 401 crate engine (read the rules), I am a tree hugger that drives an electric jeep. I mean, still send it, but I'll drop it off at CB's house.
Yes, its all pretty close. I think mine was less engineering and more trial and error but I love it. I fixed some rattles (forgot to tighten all the 12v battery bracket bolts and loose rear benches due to crushed foot rubber on the rear seats) and have been driving it a lot. Getting cold here so...
Still not sold on Single Peddle. I love the clutch and its so smooth when I shift, plus I do have full regen. I also like that I don't have to "train" someone how to drive. If you can drive stick, its brainless. To each their own but don't get me wrong, your project is amazing.
Not so sure I agree with this. All of the folks I worked with to figure out my conversion thought it was pretty darn cool that I was keeping the manual.
