I had two fastening points on my half-top stripped out. Installed Plus-Nuts in all four locations and fastened the top down with 5\16 fender bolts. I used a 3\4" spade bit to open the fiberglass then drilled out the steel plate to 31\64" Installed by making my own install tool.

Ok, I see you didn't use the red bushing. You drilled to 3/4". How was the fit? I've read where they should be welded in.
Here's the one I put in my 8 direct bolt-in. advanceautoparts.com. If my internet research is correct it's for a jeep J20 with 16.5 tires, giving a better turning ratio. (don't pay attention to the price)
Jump back 30 years- I had the same issue, I cut a big hole to get my wrench in(looks like crap. don't do that). this time I had the same on the passage side. I cut the head off the bolt and punched it up through.
