    What's on your Work Bench?

Broken lockouts seem to be the flavor of the day. That took a whole lot more torque than mine did! Piece it back together and good luck.

    Great/Best CJ Body Shops

I know that @AdamH has a guy up this way that turns out excellent work in a short turnaround. I’ve reached out to him regarding the Bronco and I felt comfortable with him.

    What are you guys cooking!?

How about some thick ribeyes? I seared them on the new grill which has a searing burner for 2 minutes on each side and then cooked to a light medium. I don’t know if it was the cuts of meat, searing them or I just got lucky but boy were they delicious. Have any of you guys noticed that the...

1983 frame off refresh - finally

I think the 'ol 258 has way too much torque! Me and CJ-8-1/2 were having some fun in the snow! He chose the Bronco over the 8.........He didn't break anything.

@CJ8LVR I really like the lean to on the right side of this picture for the fact that it’s an unsupported continuous span - so “clean”!

    What are you guys cooking!?

Well, Mrs CJ-8 loves her gas logs, so much so that we ran out of propane! Our cooktop is plumbed into the same tank as the logs. It’s been 7 weeks since filling. So off to the Holland with its side burner for some cheesesteaks cooked in the garage with the doors shut. All in all not too bad for...

    What's on your Work Bench?

Well, CJ-8-1/2 was “gifted” a 1999 Chevy 1500 2wd from his Papa, that PappPaw to you non-southerners. Let’s call Papa CJ-6, fitting I think!! It’s a clean 5.3 with 187k on it, no rust but a few mechanical issues and some lock/window stuff going on. All in due time. Got some polished alloys on it...
