Made a little progress today. Baby steps to get the oldest involved. labeled and removed the harness from the LJ.

The truck cap will probably be "saved" but not used. We will need to have a back seat and of course. Ill need some kind of full top for the family eventually. We know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody that works at GR8TOPS so hopefully we can come with something cool...

The sides on the camper shell have screen in them and then the actual grid I think is brass heater vent grates. But, sure looks like a catholic confessional booth wall.

For those of you getting a bit nervous.... No YJ front end on this one.....:P

A long time ago a guy bought a CJ8 because he thought they were pretty cool (2001-2002ish). Tore it apart, starting put it back together, started posting some pictures on this new thing called the "internet" and met a few new people on along the way that had that same sick addiction to these...

We have paint!

Here is a pic of 2nd tub getting cut and fit.

This was painful to cut fresh corners but had to be done before paint. I struggled with trying to figure out how to put CJ tail lights on. we probably should have and we still might be able to but I just cut the stock JK holes and so that we can use some JK LEDs or stock JK tail lights...

Primered, and we stuck the half top on there. This is the 1st production top. Gives the stretch some different proportions now... The bed ends up being just about 4 ft.

I'm digging and hope I have some more detail pictures of the body graft, but I'll jump ahead and show some other pictures. Got the body grafted on, and corners mounted. Frame is extended, and corners mounted. Everything should go back on as normal. Stock fender flares or if wanted to put...
