Still waiting on mine but I’m not worried! USPS is is a total SNAFU. Some really great gifts! This whole enterprise just gets better every year! Great job again BW!
I agree. I loved it until I saw the batteries taking up the entire rear seat/cargo area. Everything seemed very well executed and then the battery pack looks like a total afterthought. It seems like that will be the problem will all of these conversions. I had hoped GM had used a clever idea to...
Nice rear bumpers (chrome or white) sell for $1500 or more. Covered in bedliner...hard to say but less obviously. If straight and no dents and rust I'd still venture to guess $800 - $1000.
Original side boards with the rear upright pieces in good shape (no rot or chips) go for around $400-$500...
I would think you get a cheap Prius or similar and use those batteries? I know virtually nothing about these electric conversions but they seem pretty awesome. I love the idea of the Wrangler 4xe.
Dead Jeep on Ebay is NOT the same as the link posted above! Ray with deadjeep.com is on Ebay but under a different name (I think Dead Jeep was already taken). I'll find out his Ebay name and update.
J10 is done at the body shop! Picked it up last Friday and took it straight to a friends house and started in on the 4” Skyjacker lift. Got the front mostly done and ran into some issues on the rear and called it a day. Had to order a couple parts and will get it finished up soon. I threw a OEM...
Line-x is done. Got it color matched and sprayed in the bed and the wheel wells. Now just have to do a final sand and then paint. The blaster found a few more holes in the tailgate so it needs a little bodywork and it will be ready to paint. Hope to have color on it all by the end of the week!
Not much of an update on this...progress slowed due to weather and not wanting to transport a bare metal bed in the rain! However, today it made its way to the Line-X Shop where it is getting color-matched bedliner in the bed (I know, bedliner ? but this saves on body work and is the best stuff)...
Well this is the first time the body has been back on the chassis for a few years! Moving it all back to my makeshift shop until I can get back to work on it after my J10 is done.
