Few daylight pictures. I can’t really capture the depth of the blue paint unless it’s inside and my shit phone always leaves ghost flashes in the picture.
Also found an 82 penny when cleaning it out. Still have a ways to go but it’s getting there.

Yeah it’s weird. In person it’s a deep blue even outside but in the photos it looks much lighter blue when outside.

No it’s lighter. I think the doors are ice blue. They have vent windows which I’m not sure wasn’t an 83 option or not plus the later model door appliqués.

Here’s a pic of the pass door. You can see it looks lighter plus there’s about 20 years of dust on them which is probably making them darker. None the less I will polish them up

Coming together slow but steady. Waiting on the rear bumper from powder and still need to find time to get the driver fender dent popped out. Oddly this Scrambler never had a pass side mirror. The holes in the hinge are not drilled for one. Not sure if I’ll leave it that way or not.

Finally got the soft top cleaned and mocked it up. In case you didn’t have enough slate blue yet… Whoever installed the soft top originally, dealer or PO, didn’t mount the side body snaps on the side. One is mounted in the side black plastic piece and one is in the upward slant above where it would go in body. Not sure how that will affect mounting the top but for now they snap just fine.

Got the rear bumper back from powder. It turned out really nice. Has a few bumps and bruises but still looks good. I wasn’t sure on the look but I think the rear bumper compliments the wheels.
