Another Scrambler Purchase/Road Trip - UPDATE- BODY ON FRAME AGAIN

This is a screenshot from page 1180 of the '98 TJ FSM: It can be found here: https://wranglertjforum.com/attachments/1998-tj-service-manual-pdf.14033/ I'm not sure why this particular one has numbers for the sections (on the left) instead of descriptions. My '06 one is easier to navigate...

Another Scrambler Purchase/Road Trip - UPDATE- BODY ON FRAME AGAIN

    What's on your Work Bench?

It's alive... The lift, not the 8. :( I did also modify the mount and brackets to relocate the pump/reservoir for more clearance around the lift.

    What are you guys cooking!?

I'm sure this is probably blasphemy but we now smoke our ribs precut (party ribs) they get way more smoke and bark. Also take up way more space but we can easily do two racks on the lower surface, more than enough for the two of us for a couple meals.

Another Scrambler Purchase/Road Trip - UPDATE- BODY ON FRAME AGAIN

Are you the only one that believed you were going to be able to sleep at night with the used blocking ring in your rebuild? Is it possible the damage to the spacer plate was caused by the weight of the trans/transfer case leveraging down at the plate, maybe a difference in the engine...

Alaskan Postal Scrambler/World Cab - count/registry - help build the list

I have to question how an Alaskan Postal could average ~22 miles daily on a mail route. Maybe the Postmaster driving back and forth to the Post Office.

    Roll cage bolt (?) holes

This photo got me wondering... wouldn't it make more sense for the spare tire to be mounted on the driver's side? I know, it's a Jeep thing. :sneaky:

unknown one piece rear shafts in amc 20 with leaky seals

Gauges stay powered when ignition in “off” position. Help!!

@bigwalton Now this information with the bulkhead pin out needs to be in the Tech Library. Invaluable information for a simple check that the wiring is correct before installing. I had remembered someone on a Jeep forums posted a similar problem with switched wires years ago but was unable to...
