What do you have for an ignition system?

Have you ever checked your timing? I'd put money on you having kick back from either over advanced timing or noise in the ignition system. Blowing off the nose cone is a typical outcome for that-

I'm running a Dana 44 with external splined hubs. The problem with U-joints is the rotational speed when they are not in a straight line. When the yokes egg shape and then implode, it tents to send that shock wave thru the inner shaft into the carrier/gears which tends to hurt them too.

Yes because I can not type out on here how the install really is. You have to absolutely manhandle the joints to get them in the area that they have to fit into.

Heck yea. Myself and my wheeling buddy both have them. They are pricey but good insurance. They also are a real prince to get installed too.

I have greasable Moog ball joints in mine and they have not lasted 2500 miles.

I have a pair of Mastercraft Baja RS seats in mine that I put in the $25 seat heater kits and it is awesome! You can buy the seats with them installed too. Heated seats are the best thing since sliced bread- It'll be money well spent.

Thanks. It works really good and wouldn't change a thing about it. I just wish that I had more wheeling pics of it but it's kinda hard taking pics from the drivers seat. ;)

Myself and two friends had a chance to get out and do some wheeling instead of dualsport riding this weekend in Florence AZ. This has been the first time I have had the Jeep out since the National. Man this thing works good... I just wish that I got more pictures.

John, you should update your Jeep with a LS some day because it's not like you will ever sell it. :)
