    $25 7" H4 Headlight Upgrade Kit

Bought one at my local Toy dealership. They started at $40, talked him down to a little less than $33, but no shipping fee. Pick it up tomorrow.

Another Scrambler Purchase/Road Trip - UPDATE- BODY ON FRAME AGAIN

I was able to use rivnuts in the bulkhead to top in 3 holes that were stripped out. That way I can still use the 5/16” bolts.

I’m sorry for your loss. Plenty of knowledgeable people here to help, if needed.

Looking to appraise value for my Mom's 1984 CJ-8 Scrambler

No difference in how to handle it. I’m in VA, so the rules are pretty similar. Whereabouts in NC?

Looking to appraise value for my Mom's 1984 CJ-8 Scrambler

For the sake of probate, unless the rules in Ca are vastly different, you just want to give them the lowest number they’ll accept without an argument. They want to tax you for its value. Just go with something like $2500-$3000 due to condition. Paying for an appraisal won’t help unless it’s...

    Snowplow for 1981 Scrambler

It’ll rattle your teeth pretty good, but it also trips and will fold over.

    Snowplow for 1981 Scrambler

I agree, if I were to put a plow on my new 2024 RAM 2500, it’d probably be $12k or more. I don’t go with the low end models, I like the features on what I have.

    Snowplow for 1981 Scrambler

Finding a new setup for a CJ may prove quite difficult. I’ve run Meyers plows for about 40 years. Decent enough product and it’s been around for a long time. Plenty of support for parts, oem and aftermarket. My last plow that I got in 2015 for my RAM 2500 was a Meyer Lot Pro, cost about $8-9k...

Another Scrambler Purchase/Road Trip - UPDATE- BODY ON FRAME AGAIN

It does a decent job of keeping water out, but mine gets parked in a garage and I don’t take it out in the rain except when I’m caught in it at an event. Then it gets covered if I’m not out in it already. Most of the stuff comes off with a plastic scraper, but my paint isn’t as pretty as yours.

I do use that 3M strip caulk on the bottom of the bulkhead. It’s been fine for years. On the sides I’ve used foam camper tape.

    Well finally start building

Until you hook them up and put fluid pressure in them, they will seem loose. The pads are currently sitting away from the rotors.
