As title says I put in some 4” springs in the rear of my scrambler and it seems to sit pretty high looking. I’m waiting for the guy I got them from to get the paperwork for me. They are brand new. I can’t remember who makes them. I was just wondering if the paperwork says they are 4” if I just...
I haven’t been on here for a while and I recently started to post a couple things. I came across this thread I started. I forgot about it. If anyone is near Monticello let me know know. I now know where Chaska is. Thanks
Cool thanks for the response. Is there anyway that you can get a measurement from the ground to the tallest part of the top. That would kinda give me an idea how high it would be right?
I probably should have added this in the post but my fingers get tired. Lol. I have one piece axles and disc brakes in the back. Both rears have 4.56 with Detroit lockers. I’m going to make a truss and weld the tubes on the 20. Hopefully that will be enough. I have been reading up on the...
Looking for some info about my scrambler. I just put a bunch of parts together not knowing what I really have. I’m leaning on a soa set up. I don’t know anything about the leaf springs or shackles. Lift wise. # 1 It has the AMC 20/Dana 30 still just by putting the spring mounts on top of axle...
Nothing crazy. It has a 250 Chevy 6 cylinder with a sm465/205 set up. One piece axles with 4wheel disc brakes. I put 4.56’s with Detroit lockers front and back. I want to re do the lift because I just mixed matched parts together, so not sure how much lift it has. Have 35” eagle claws on it.
I don’t think I have formally introduced myself. I have asked questions but nothing else. I’m from Minnesota looking for some other Jeep or not wheelers to hang out with and go wheeling with. I mostly street drive my Cj8 now because I don’t know where to go without getting in trouble. I think it...
Thanks for the honesty. I appreciate that. I’m not sure what direction I want to go with it. I would like to use it a little over the winter though. Thanks again
Got just about everything working. Just need a top and some heat. I have a half hard top. Looking for the metal piece that bolts it to windshield and a bulkhead. Have a kayline soft top but I’m missing some parts
