How much weight are your vehicle tags good for.
I just put tags on a pickup in South Carolina and had to upgrade tags since standard tags were pretty much maxed out. So I upgraded to give me another 600 pounds of carry capacity. Upgraded tags are at 5000 lbs now.

As stated, most shops only want insurance work. I had a shop that I trusted, said they would do my CJ8, and do it right. They had recently rebuilt a CJ8 tub for another customer, so they should have good knowledge of what was involved. When ask for estimate I got crickets...
I would try a graft another Willis hood from windsheild to the Willis hood that opens and shuts. The curved cowl at windsheild is fighting the boxed Willis design. Hope you can understand what I'm describing.
That would take away the stubby look of front, making it symmetrical with rear behind...
Cheap route is to measure diameter of gauge opening. Go to Summit Racing or Speedway pick out some name brand gauges of your choice.
Speed hut gauges are the goto for alot of members. Them resemble original gauges but are quality in a box

If you do decide to sell, list in "for sale" section of this forum. Just from the photo, the condition seems to be a "good driver", condition. The Scrambler should be an easy sale.
I've watch this event for the past 3 years since I work in Myrtle Beach. My job keeps me driving on main roads so I get to see all that ride around.
There were more CJs this year than ever before. They were well done. Also seem to be less of the newer 4 doors riding around. Also the Halloween...
