Wheelbase seems to lo g to be a CJ7 but seems short for a CJ8, might be lack of a full body that makes it appear that way. Curious what the wheelbase is on it.

Your front light issue may be a bad ground up in the grill. I had that issue with my last CJ7.

There are mufflers that bolt right to headers. Purple hornies maybe?

Possibly if your had a YJ windshield/frame and used the factory bar from the windshield to a bracket that attached to the should belt mount(if you had one). Obviously that bracket would need to be custom made and beefy enough to support the weight.

What about spraying it with a type of spray on bedliner?

Walk in body shop labor is alot more than what they get paid for insurance work. I don't understand why, work is work.

I had an AJ's top on my one Scrambler. I did not find it to be noisy, but I also never took it on long trips. Never ran a soft top on a CJ8 but was quieter than my last CJ7 with a softtop
