My 2 favorite CJ8s.
First up is this 82 copper brown. Flew in to Olympia, WA and drove her home 24 hours straight. This one sold new out of Tucson, AZ (where I live), so I had even more attraction to it and had to get it.
A few months later I found this garnet 84 CJ8 also in Olympia, WA. In...
Great news, Raymond!
We just found out Monday my father has cancer. He's 72 years old and takes baby aspirin because it's supposed to be good for your blood at that age. Turned out it could have saved his life.
Father urinated blood a couple times about 2 weeks ago. He called his doctor and...
Uh, why are the Wrangler Radials on clearance? Doesn't clearance usually mean they're going to be discontinued?
Also, I don't know if it is nationwide, but my local Walmart tire shops are closed for now :/
I am replacing a bed in one of my CJ8s right now with a Classic Enterprises bed. The quality looks remarkable and I think the fitment is spot on. Only down side to their beds is they do not have the drain plugs pre-drilled. Easy work with a hole saw, but you'd think they would just be there...
I brought my garnet carpet to a local laundromat that had XL washers. Single tide pod (so much restraint not to eat it), scoop of oxyclean and gentle cycle. It literally looks like NOS carpet now. Results were amazing.
I have a few more at powder coat. I will be selling just 1 white one. It has a repair on it. From the outside it looks perfect but from the inside you can see some weld beads and such.
You're better off not joining! Stay away from the madness.
I just ordered 9. 5 are going to another CJ-8 member and I need 3 more, so I should have an extra. Shoot me a PM and I'll be glad to send it to you at cost.
Spent a few hours finishing up the restoration of these CJ8 rear bumpers.
They all started out as chrome. I had them all stripped and whatever pitting that was on there (extremely minimal) was worked out of the metal. Had two of them re-chromed and the other two powder coated. They all look...
Never introduced myself here. Jeremy Tepper from Vail, AZ (essentially Tucson). Been into Jeeps since 1999 when my best bud from the Marine Corps took me wheeling in his 79 CJ5 Renegade. Got hooked. Bought my first Jeep in 2005 after I got out of the Marines and owned probably 5 or 6 from...
