1983 Scrambler resto

I think the wheels look great. Its hard to find stock looking wheels that properly support tires over 33x12.50, besides if you are not going 100% stock you might was well get some bling going on. All of it looks great together.

i 'LOVE' the soft top,i "LOVE" the color and decals,i "LIKE" the wheels,(a little modern for me)
i was looking at your pics and admiring your work and thought it needed too be as high as your 5,but did not want you to take it the wrong way,and then noticed that you mentioned it

YOU DID A GREAT JOB!!!!!! I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT !!!

P.S. --WHY DO YOU INVERT THE JEEP LOGO

hay how is she going? can we have an update of any problems ect.Finished photos.Like to see the end product:cheers:

Yup. I'll get on the pics. Good day/weekend to photo here.

Put 1008 -almost troublefree- miles on it. Quit running in neighbor's yard 4 weeks ago. Put a jumper cable from battery to solenoid and determined that new cable from battery to soli was defective somehow. Replaced it and it started up. Then, drove it about 2 hours from home and on the way back at 70 mph it stopped dead on the turnpike. Got the Suburban and towed it home and let it sit while I thought about it. Then I posted here about the problem and the anwers got me to thinking about the problem. Traced the entire harness under the hood and found that a part of the harness for the fuel injection was laying on the exhaust manifold and burned a hole thru one wire which shorted whole system. Fixed it and it started right up. Gas tank has a leak from one of the vents on top that I plugged. Need to drop it and fix. Touched up a couple of spots in the paint on driver's side windshield frame, and repainted the right front fender. Need to replace clock with an original one. Kinda wanders on road a little. Need to take that to an alignment shop. Steering wheel needs to be centered. The usual stuff. But we're enjoying driving it around. Will take pics and post up today or tomorrow.

3M Tape

Do you remember what the 3M tape was called that you used when you put beteween the fenders and the body? getting ready to start reasembly one mine.

I don't remember the name but its 3M and its from Napa. Comes in strips in a box. About 8 inches long and size of a pencil. Very pliable. A bunch of strips per box. The name is in my thread earlier. Info was from JohnN I think.
